The world was never beautiful for Jerry, since his wife Olivia left him and their daughter Haley, alone, but his whole world collapses when he "wakes" up dead in a morgue, having near him his daughter which is also dead for unknown reasons. Jerry is able to think and to communicate with his daughter and other dead people as well, in a place called "The cold side". He will try for all the time to remember what happened to his daughter and make her forgive him.
