After winter break, the girls at the very prestigious Longbourn Academy become obsessed with the prom. Lizzie Bennet who attends Longbourn on a scholarship, isn't interested in designer dresses and expensive shoes, but he best friend Jane might be --- especially now that Charles Bingley is back from a semester from London.
Lizzie is happy about her friend's burgeoning romance but less than impressed by Charles's friend Will Darcy, who's snobby and pretentious. Darcy doesn't seem to like Lizzie either, but she assumes it's because her family doesn't have any money. Clearly Will Darcy is a pompous jerk --- so why does Lizzie find herself drawn to him anyway?
Will Lizzie's pride and Will's prejudice keep them apart? Or are they a prom couple in the making?

It takes place on the American west coast. It features an Asian-American Bennet family living in a small city outside of Seattle. It has very similar plot points to the original, but adapted to a modern setting. However, I don't think you need to have read Pride & Prejudice to read this! She made a large sum of money each week, training for her new job as a law professor at NYU Law School. She went home everyday to her new apartment on the road to Washington Square. Its beauty radiating every time she stepped in. But she knew deep inside she was lonely. She felt alone every day, as she had left behind her family and friends in Australia. But that changes. As she walks down the icy lanes on her way back from grocery shopping, Harley runs into a somewhat familiar man, causing her to fall. Their eyes locked and Harley suddenly knew... She may not be lonely anymore NOTE: This was my first ever fan-fiction. It is truly not the greatest story you shall read. BUT!
