Feelings aren't always genuine you could love someone with your heart but not with your brain which leads you to some type of hypocrisy that gets destroyed by depression once you realise that you're a horrible person. It's why Sunflowers die 12 days after they're exposed to reality
Always understand one thing "Kind words can always cover how dark the wound is" and this is an example of one.
