Melody Grant is seventeen years old and suffers from micro-phobia, which is the fear of being contaminated by others, simply by touching them. She lives an incredibly isolated life, and one of the few times in her week that she gets out to socialize is when she goes to her therapy, group-sessions. When Harry Styles, a troubled, 20 year-old boy from the UK, starts attending these very same meetings, Melody slowly, but surely, starts to regain the life that was intended for a normal, teenaged girl. The boy who's helping her though, is, at the same time, slowly starting to fall for her.
