After the war that demolished North America, a society of cruel leaders stepped forward to rule the land. They proposed harsh rules on life, but more importantly, rules against red heads also called the fire benders. In a small city in the Midwest, Kiara, a sixteen year old girl, must face life at its cruelest, in order to survive. One day at her high school, her powers come forth and she is almost murdered in an effort to escape. But, a society of fire benders, known as The Society of Rogues, come to her aid and rescue her. Now she must learn to survive and to defend her people from destruction. But perhaps she has a higher calling, could she be the one to stop the society that threatens to tear her world apart?

Legend says every year when the first solar eclipse occurs and everything becomes dark the wolf leaves his dark sanctuary and wanders into the town and snatches someone taking them silently back to the forest with him and no on ever heard from them again, except maybe this year someone will find the truth behind this mysterious creature.
