After being trapped in Dipper's mind, Bill realizes that Pinetree's family had set up the perfect chess board for him, all he had to do was move a few pieces. At some point that neither Bill nor Dipper could pinpoint, the two become toxically dependent and somewhat obsessed with each other. Bill thrived on the dependency of Pinetree, and Dipper loved the attention he got from him. In the end, things start to drastically shift in the teen's mind and his new best friend is there to guide him. Mabel isn't the best sister, but she tries. It's not like Dipper's the best brother either. They both have messed up ways of dealing with their trauma, but she doesn't realize just HOW messed up her brother has become. {Please note that this book contains graphic depictions of abuse, strangulation, trauma responses, and hospitalization trauma, along with dark humor, non-consensual medical treatment, death etc. Reader discretion advised.} (This may not be accurate - it is fanfiction. Four years after Weirdmageddon, Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and Ford return to Gravity Falls for the summer. Dipper and Wendy reconnect on a deeply personal and intimate level. Dipper and Mabel fret about their parents' upcoming divorce. Plans for the future are made: Dipper has finished high school early, and has won a scholarship to Miskatonic University, on the strength of his academic work, his granduncle Ford, and one of Ford's old colleagues and teachers at Miskatonic, Prof. Rick Sanchez. Mabel is still in high school, but has been doing advanced reading in psychology. Wendy and Dipper want to plan a future together. Mabel wants to move to Gravity Falls when she finishes university to open a craft store and counseling center. The Stans are thinking of continuing to travel the world investigating paranormal phenomena and producing a show about it all along the lines of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. However, an ancient evil threatens Wendy and Dipper, and all of the Pines clan's hopes for the future. I have no idea how long this will take to write. This is my first attempt at fanfiction. I recently discovered the Gravity Falls show, and so, of course I am late to the party-- late by several years. However, I wanted to try my hand at this.
