It sort of functions as a stand alone short story, however I am working on writing a medium length novel. The short story on Wattpad is more of an extremely condensed version of the middle of the book. I set out to write a short story, and ended up with twelve thousand words in the first chapter. I promptly gave up on constraints and decided to make it into a complete novel. If anyone is interested in reading the complete story, which (unlike the wattpad version, will be thoroughly edited and will progress past a first draft😂) if anyone wants to read the full book, it will be on Apple Books, eh... eventually.
