I was the governments guinea pig, an experiment. Held prisoner and hidden from the world outside. But now, after many sacrifices, I am free. I once believed that the real world was a place where I could live happily, I was wrong. The government is chasing us, so are rogue's who want to hold us for ransom. We have had many close calls, and also strokes of luck, but that won't last. We know it's inevitable, we will get caught by the government so they can do more tests on us. But for now, we will run, away from the government's clutches. But, more then anything else, we need to solve one vital question. What is the government up to?

The Apocalypse
The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. 7 Criminals around Russia, Korea, and Japan were all sent to a certain jail in America, "The Unwanted", for having unique diseases that have never been heard of before. Instead of being sent to death, each day they're experimented on by the doctors of the prison. This is to find the demanding cure of the diseases that everyone has been wanting, more specifically the News and social media, to know. An example of the experiments would be the doctors injecting different "vaccines" into the sickened's skin, to see if it helps them or defects them. They get the results back once they draw blood from the tested, diseased subject. They're trapped in cells most of the day after their testing, meaning they're rarely ever out of the cells after being "experimented" on. If they were to disobey this law, then they would be sent to the electric chair. They wouldn't send enough bolts to their heads to kill them though, they just severely damage their health and the way they mentally function. Unfortunately, their memories were whipped out, by the nurses, to the extent of their crimes and people they knew before prison. This leaves the diseased to try and find out why they're there and who they knew before this. Of course, the Nurses don't want this because after the sickened kids committed their crimes, they wanted to commit suicide for an unknown reason. They, the doctors and police, need them alive to find the cure and reason for their diseases to avoid them from spreading or occurring again. Will they be cured or is this thing a whole scheme just to torture some murderers? Who will die or eventually snap? Will the criminals ever find out who they truly were or who they knew? Runaway
I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. For as long as I can remember, I had been experimented on, drugged to the brink of insanity, and tortured by someone I thought was my family. Boy, was I wrong. This isn't one of those stories where I suddenly get a huge boost of courage and defeat the bad guys then live happily ever after. I don't believe in that stuff anymore. Instead, I was a coward, and ran for my life, for my freedom, because I was too afraid to stand and fight and risk losing control like the monster they had created me to be. I've been too many people, have moved too many times. Now, I wonder if I will finally be able to find a place to call home... I won't allow myself to be captured before I even have a chance at that.
