Detective Stephan Jones is the Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement and Security Training teacher , He's a new teacher but also a undercover cop.
He does not know how to deal with a room full of teenagers ready to learn. He's a very strict man , very committed to his job(s). His plan was to scare the students , be serious and strict but his plan falls when Maxine "Maxx" Hazel walks in the room. She's the bad girl, the girl who's been arrested, sent to court, the girl who's been suspended so many times and has been expelled a handful of times.
She's been assigned to both the Criminal Justice Course along with the Law Enforcement one. Of course, when she walked in through the door the room fell silent. Mr Stephan Jones didn't seem he could take his eyes off of her.
When he comes across her record he knows now why she was placed into all three of the three courses he teaches.
He attempts to help her, to drive her away from her bad side but instead of helping her he began to fall for her. She has volunteered several times to help him represent something. She's even taken personal lessons from him at the shooting range, along with more high end personal training.
When Maxx finally opens up, he becomes obsessed with her.
Usually he'd bust people for drug addiction but she was his drug. Maxx began to catch feelings for him as well but up until he begins to get rough with her, black mailing her and forcing affection out of her.
One day, a rapid shooting gang jumps over the gates of the school to cause chaos.
Maxx, Detective Jones, and a few other students were quick on their feet when hearing the firing.
They geared up, fought, Maxx fought to no end, with no mercy, then.. Jones' worst nightmare Occurred, Maxx took a few bullets for him, and fell in his arms.

Where was she for all those years?

Sneak Peak-
Once we were out, I stopped and turned to face my blood relatives and said, "Okay, now that I am out you don't need to act anymore. Now, you guys can go back to your house and pretend that this never happened. I will go to my house and will make sure that we will not cross each other's path, even by accident."
I was about to turn back when Ezekiel held my elbow, stopping me on my track. I immediately snatched my hand back glaring at him and said,
"Do not ever touch me again." His eyes showed an emotion of hurt that I am sure I read incorrectly because one thing that Kensington brothers are incapable of was getting hurt by any outsider. And that was what I was. An outsider.
Sensing the tension in the atmosphere Aldric took it upon himself to say whatever his brother was about to.
"You are going with us." He spoke.
One thing about Aldric Kensington was that once he has made his mind, there is nothing in this world that can change his decision. This is the very quality of his that made my life a living nightmare, and this is exactly why I hate him more than any of my brothers.
"Let's go Athaliah," Ezekiel said this time.
That name. No one has called me by that name in six years. "My name is Zahra," I corrected and continued, "And I am not going with you."
