He was not expecting to travel to dimensions with Yuya (and others), hell he wasn't even expecting to travel to Yuya's dimension instead of his own. He really wasn't expecting this and what's this? A deck of cards? Pendulum summoning? What's that? Also he has no clue on how he even got there! Neither of them were prepared for what's to come.
