This is a poem about modern slavery - the atrocious trade of human trafficking. The character is drawn from my academic research, the video documentary "Nefarious: Merchant of Souls", and a novel which I am writing to expose the abominable trade. Stop human trafficking!

We've all heard the tales of good and bad, the tales of innocent deceit and her hero, the tales that despite their nature, show us the beauty in contrast. But it's the tales of pure evil that get swept under the rug. The tales of deception, where cruelty is rewarded. The tales that have you questioning who the real villain of the story is. There's a simple philosophy to most thing in life; two wrongs 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 make a right. So what ensues when you put two of the worst kinds of people together? Loyalties transfer, lines blur, and hatred ignites complete chaos. She's cunning. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴. She's dangerous. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴. She's evil. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦. Or so that's what we're told. She had known him for 14 years, been in love with him for 4 years and dated him for 4 months. Everything about them has always been 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯. She was just the daughter of the dead butler and he was the billionaire heir. Love blooming in the forbidden lands doesn't survive easily, everything in the surrounding is poisonous, ambushing to crush it down. Especially when you fall for the 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 mistaking him for a gentleman, every door of escape shuts down, no matter how far you run. 𝗔𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵 wasn't new to the feeling of being unwanted and neglected. However, her patience wore thin when her mother started to push her to agree for a marriage she doesn't want, where she would be nothing but a 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍. In her desperate urge to break through all, she didn't realise she had just landed herself in a perfectly laid__ 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒑 ? There's always an unspoken rule; you don't poke the 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 by going after his woman. That's the sin his enemies committed and now they must bear the consequences. Nothing can stop him now.
