Have you ever, once, seen a shadow? No, I'm not at all talking about the one that follows you on the ground. These shadows are alive, and they're quite unique. It starts out with the King And Queen of the Dark World, who suddenly 'disappear', and leave the ruling to three of their four sons, thus being Shadow, Twilight and Navy, the fourth and eldest son being named Typher. And BOY OH BOY is this intro to the fanfiction going to be interesting...try not to get lost! And feel free to leave comments and any tips for me on my profile or just in the comments! :)

This story is inspired by ancient China and doesn't have a specific time period it plays out in (remember that it's a fantasy world and not meant to be 100% history accurate, it's a world I made not a documentary lol) and all characters are my own and I do not allow for them to be used (fanart or fanfics are okay as long as you give credit!), I cannot say more than that without spoiling everything! but if you enjoy reading Danmei you will surely love this! I am actively working on getting my drawings in the chapters! and I use modern (not American) time and measurement increments so that nobody has to go and google it just to keep reading lol A GENERAL TW: there is gore, SA, torture, just in general gruesome stuff but it's all part of the story line and things WILL get better, there is both a ton of hurt and a ton of comfort so do not worry! this story is based in Roman times in Mobius. long ago sonic and Shadow was childhood friends that had only each other to face the hate that they got from the world till Sonic's father had enough of Sonic not listening to him and had him sold off into slavery. shadow tries to save him from leaving his side but was too weak to do so resulting in shadow snapping as the last thing he had in life was taken away from him resulting in him becoming insane. will shadow find Sonic or forget him and carry on in life as the new Emperor 12 years later.
