Opposites: The Staff of Light [Book One]

46 parts Complete

Every baby predicted to die is saved by magic - a spell so strong it could connect the medieval world to the present. Once the eldest child has turned sixteen, it was time for every cursed son and daughter to be brought to a camp known as Camp Haven where the head mistress, a witch, believes it would be the safest place for everyone. Or is it? Alice Candum has lived her life with a sister who never saw her more than a nuisance. Every day she would feel alone, unless the snow began to fall, or her friends would come for a visit. But it was then when she was in the face of a decision - it was either she give the Staff of Light or everyone dies. Colton O'Bryan was a boy who lived with his step-mother his entire life, pondering about his mother's death, and why a single evidence wasn't left for him to keep. His father would only tell him he looked like her... but Colton knew that was never enough. His story began as he stepped foot into the Camp. Annnabeth Candum was a troubled girl. She locked herself up in a room with books and no idea on how to control her curse outside a metal bracelet that, even ironically a metal, restrained her powers. One problem was enough to make her jump into a portal, and once she stepped foot into the medieval world, the Staff of Light blazes to life. And all she knew she had to protect it from the killer who, from the start, awaited for that precious moment.
