Everyone over the age fifteen in the small town of Simcoe has vanished. No warning. No explanation. No trace.
Cellphones won't turn on. Websites won't load. The news has gone silent. Every adult is simply gone.
Cut off from the outside world and possibly the last survivors on earth, the remaining children are left to fend for themselves. Some act out recklessly. Others try to control. New bullies and victims rise, and secrets once buried begin to resurface.
But the disappearance isn't the only threat.
Stranges powers are awakening in some of them. Something toxic flows through that's unnatural, dangerous, and spreading. As chaos tightens its grip on Simcoe, hope of rescue begins to fade.

Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. He claims he's tried to seek it himself in the same city, but has never found it. While Sawyer is trying to find it, instead, she finds Eli. Eli and Sawyer tell a lot about themselves to each other. Sawyer then finds out, there's a lot more to Eli than she thought when she discovers his psychic abilities... she is extremely tempted to do multiple risks that she's never thought she'd be able to do. This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
