Being a werewolf in a school consisting of mostly vampires is a difficult task. Especially for Shōyō Hinata. After getting into a verbal fight with the new student, Tobia Kageyama, Shōyō must deal with the consequences. Tobio decides to punish him for calling him king, by draining some of Shōyō's blood, but overdoes it and accidentally bites into Shōyō's scent glands.
