Sometimes, what you are looking for, is just in front of your eyes.

When Lilly awoke, she remembers nothing. The Loss had happened, and with it, taken away almost everyone's memories of the event that happened. Lilly lies in the midst of it, with no past or future she can look towards.

But one thing remains in her eyes. An artifact that was part of the Loss. The Siren's Heart, said to grant the owner's deepest desires.

On a journey to recover the heart, how much would she be willing to sacrifice for it, and how far would she have to go to finally get hold of it?

The Maiden of Memories

14 parts Complete

Lethe is a river mermaid with a rare talent: she can erase and manipulate others' memories. As a result of this ability, the river mermaids have raised her to protect her river home, which holds the Talisman of Dreams. Despite not knowing the reason why, Lethe still takes the responsibility as their main guardian. But nothing she can do will stop the theft of the treasure. As a result of the talisman's disappearance, her river is swallowed in chaos, every single creature panicking over the loss of their most important artifact. As she took the blame for the theft, Lethe, in return, has to find the thief and bring back the ancient relic at all costs. She shall not allow anything to stop her from her quest, even if her actions will cross some boundaries that shouldn't be touched. However, as she hunts down the thief, Lethe starts to discover more about the world, her home, and herself. She soon finds out that nothing is for certain and that she cannot change the past, even if she can force everyone else to believe something else. Lethe soon starts to change as she learns more about the world, her home, and herself. After all, no person will ever stay the same after a journey... {Unfinished NaNoWriMo 2014.
