Amethyst Black is as normal as the average modern girl can get. She has short, blonde hair and her blue-green eyes manage to captivate her peers.

But when a freak accident is the cause of her death, her mother does everything in their power to ensure that she doesn't leave them. Even selling her own life.
Her wishes were granted over night when a host of Faerie guardians turn up and bring her to life.

But with an answered prayer, there's a curse. Amethyst is now immortal.

Her hair is inky black which gracefully flows down to her hips and her eyes are of the colour of her name. The girl's ears are delicately pointed at the tips and her features are sharp. Amethyst's pink, once-thin lips are now full and plump. Her face now adorns a slender, feminine nose.

Amethyst Black is immortal.
She is a reborn Faerie.

But living forever is not an easy task; especially when your mortal friends are living with the thought of her absence - not that they're thinking about her, anyway.

Upon discovering that amethyst has been brought back to life, she also finds out where her parents have been disappearing off to since before she was born. The Faerie lands.

Now that the family are in the skin that they belong in, they must leave the mortal realm and dwell in the cities beyond human fairytales.

Living forever may sound like a dream that has come true. But it also comes with it's flaws.
