Katsura Hikari has started her first year at Karasuno High School, where she gets news that the girls' soccer club has been cancelled due to an uninterest in the sport. When Hikari finds her old middle school friend Hinata Shouyou, having lost contact with him, she's convinced to stick by his side and help him just like she did back when they went to Yukigaoka.

Hanging out with him also means hanging out with the rest of the boys' volleyball club, which is where she finds herself being pulled apart by two different guys.
