You could feel something, but you weren't too sure whether it was a bad thing or a good thing. Lying on the couch you looked out the window, the weather was beautiful. The sun was high in the sky, bright and warm. The sunlight poured in through the window making your skin warm to the touch. You'd been staying at Derek's place as your house didn't feel like home anymore. You and your dad had been fighting a lot lately, ever since he found out about the horrors that Beacon Hills held. You threw your head back and closed your eyes. Just try not to think about it, you thought to yourself, you'll get stressed.

Evading the wolves book 1

63 parts Complete Mature

"I bandaged everything the best I could. It will need stitches. However, I'm afraid that it is broken. Same as your leg. Broken and needs stitches. How's your head feeling? I haven't been able to get that sucker to stop bleeding." His voice sliced through the air. I stare at him, confused, looking around, wanting to be anywhere but here. He clears his throat once again. "Mate, did you hear me?" "How is your head feeling?" I close my eyes. What the fuck? What the fuck? I was angry, annoyed, and frightened. What, mate? What cruel world would make me mate with a wolf? No, no, no... My arm and leg were throbbing intensely. My head was screaming. I brought my fingers up to my head to try and rub the pain away. I needed to leave. Now. I told myself. My mind is still groggy, unable to swiftly move my body like I need to. I didn't even notice I was crying until his voice rang through my ears once again. His footsteps quickly, walking across the hardwood floor. The first book in the series Not very good lol 😆 Completed, still needs editing though let me know what you think!
