Carter Gates is the daughter of a prestigious lord. She is well known for being very beautiful, young and an airhead and flirt. But truthfully she is not an airhead she just puts on a show to get men to leave her alone. William Aubrey is the son of an earl. He detests Carter Gates as much as she detests him. He is very handsome and he knows it. He finds it hard to find a woman who does not want him for his title. When his older sister and her older brother announce their engagement they find it hard to avoid each other. Can they both get over their hatred of each other and get along when the time comes or will they hate each other forever.
