Kyra Ravens comes from a poor family. Her day-to-day life comprises of struggling to keep her family and her alive. She passes through school with her head down, but not because she's afraid- no, there's a fiery passion burning within her but she has to keep it down. She has to stay on the down-low if she wants to pass through high school without any unnecessary nuisances. That means no friends, no unnecessary conversations, and no facial expressions.
Jax Evans is forcibly tied to a mysterious organization called the Department of Obliteration. Great looks, cocky attitude, and undeniable loyalty, he is a key aspect to the organization. One day, he is assigned a mission that completely changes his whole outlook on life as he meets a girl named Kyra Ravens.
