My Son Jake

Jake Smith is a nineteen year old that has been living with his friend since he was kicked out by his father at the age of sixteen. After constant arguments and sleepless nights his parents endured from his behavior they finally had enough to force him to leave. He has spent most of his teen years falling deeper and deeper into a hole as he struggles more and more with drugs. He hasn't spoken to his parents in a year which was the last time he tried to ask them for money. So when his mom gets a surprised phone call late in the afternoon from her estranged son she drops everything and rushes over. Is this another one of Jake's schemes to take advantage of his mom or is something really wrong? Will Jake see this event as a sign to change or will he just get worse until the drugs claim his life?
