"I find it odd how humans can cause so much pain to one another without laying a hand on them. No cut, slice, or kick can compensate as much pain as simple sounds put together do. They twist your thoughts. Make your greatest enemy yourself. The worst bad guy of them all because no one else can see it. No one else can save you. You fall into an endless pit. Oblivion."

Lost and broken from old school bullies, William Solace moves to a new school. In terror, he realizes that he only gives birth to a whole new cycle of pain, but this time, to another.

Nico panics in the knowledge of knowing his school bully is about to invade one of his only safe spots, camp. How had no satyr found the golden-haired boy before he reached sixteen? Why did the fates have so much out for the both of them?

Why was it always him?

Evil lurks behind the shadows for both the boys. A revolution, like many others before, is hungry for a power to harness. They've set their eye on two certain individuals who could lead them to their right fitted glory.

I do not own most of the characters or camp half-blood in this book. Rick Riordan owns the right. The plot is mine.

He's actually looking forward to being a groomsman in his half-sister's wedding, even though there's sure to be tons of awkward encounters. Bring it on. He's not scared anymore. He'll even buy the next round. ᴘᴇʀᴄʏ ɪꜱ ʀᴇɢʀᴇᴛꜰᴜʟ. Pining after a love from ten years ago does that to a guy. He's become a shell of the hero he once used to be. His fatal flaw has become his downfall. He's turning down job opportunities to care for his mother, spending his nights watching Wheel of Fortune, and eating leftover lasagna. Maybe a New Rome-style vacation is just what he needs to find himself again. ᴡɪʟʟ ɪꜱ ᴛʜʀɪᴠɪɴɢ. His internship at the hospital is amazing, his roommate is awesome, and he's not regretting his decision to move to LA. However, a trip to New Rome goes wrong when ghosts from his past threaten his new lifestyle. He'll have no part of it. Is this his optimistic nature, or his inability to commit? Ten years have passed since the war against Gaea and the giants, so everyone's married with kids, right? Wrong. This isn't one of those sunshine and smiles and Perca-babies all the time stories.

[DISCLAIMER: I do not own the characters in this story. All rights to Rick Riordan, the brilliant mind behind all of this.] Percy had changed. He lost himself years ago. He was on his own now, and he wasn't sure anyone or anything could help him. But what if he was wrong? Nico knew he was alone. His father left, and his mother and sister were both dead and gone. He knew there could be someone to break him, but the real question: Who?
