It was dark. It was silent. But he could still hear danger sirens. He could not see. He could not feel. But he still knew that it was all too real. He did not know better. He was naive. But he felt in his heart that he needed to believe. His heart was stone. His soul was deep. But he only wished for the ability to see. A Corrupt Mind is a sad sight to see, yes, but not uncommon. A toubled delinquent from the wrong side of the tracks, Levi Powers, would just about give anything to have a normal life. A family, a home, all of the normal things a normal teenager has. Levi thinks she has it the worst, but when she has many unpleasant greetings with the devil himself, Angel Maverick, she begins by despising him, but soon gets to know him and has a life-changing peek into his dark past, realizing that maybe she doesn't have it so bad, after all. She doesn't like how even though he's as blind as can be, he has a family and friends that care for and love him for who he is. The very opposite of what Levi has going on for her. But what happens when two completely opposite paths cross at the time neither of them knew they needed the other the most ? Will it just be a long, bumpy road that leads nowhere, but downhill from there ? Or will Levi and Angel finally learn that life isn't what it's set out to be for the Corrupt Minds they know they are ?

Violet Hayes never expected her senior year to start with loss. Losing her mother to cancer was heartbreaking, but being sent away to London by a father who couldn't bear to look at her? That was something else entirely. Thrown into the home of her father's best friend, she finds herself living with the Montgomery brothers-Theo, the easygoing and protective one, and Mason, the arrogant, brooding, gorgeous one who makes it painfully clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Mason Montgomery has everything-looks, money, power. But beneath the smirks and confidence, he's spent years battling demons he refuses to name. When Violet walks into his life, soft-spoken yet undeniably strong, she's just another rich American girl-or so he thinks. He's determined to push her away, but she sees right through him. And the more he tries to fight it, the more he finds himself breaking all his own rules. What starts as heated arguments and endless teasing quickly turns into something neither of them can ignore. But just as Violet begins to feel like she belongs somewhere, Mason's world unravels-his mother's dark past comes back to haunt him, his rage spirals out of control, and the walls he built so high start to crumble. When a dangerous encounter at a party pushes them to their true breaking point, Mason is forced to face what he's known all along-Violet isn't just another girl. She's the one person who sees him. And he'll do anything to keep her safe, even if it means fighting against everything he's ever believed. Love was never supposed to be in the equation. But sometimes, the people who are the most broken are the ones worth fighting for the most.
