I am no stranger to unrequited love; the yearning for someone to love you back as badly as you love them Unrequited love is passionate, unapologetic and can't be tamed. It's also very tiring, and from time to time hurts Like Hell. If loving someone who could never love you back was a skill, I'd have mastered it Which is why I've made myself this promise that If ever I was in the position to find myself falling in love again, the candidate I've fallen for needs to love me back, needs to want me back And if not..... There's no compromise, I won't break my promise, I won't fall in love if I'm not sure if he could love me back. So if there's a slight possibility that I do fall.....No scratch that He needs to fall in love with me. Amber Lincoln a 22 year old student who has never been in a relationship till present day, aims to change that, soon. Plus minus the fact that she is still working through the trauma of the death of her twin sister, father and the attempted suicide of her mother, an insane sex drive for someone who has never had sex because of standards for men created by the men portrayed in movies and books. And a boy who might possibly never want her, whom she might be infatuated with despite promising herself that she wouldnt fall for someone who didnt undoubtedly want her, so she'll spend her time convincing herself that shes not interested in him At least until she convinces him that she is the ultimate love of his life This definitely feels like Amber's year
