Nightjar is a hybrid between a nightwing and a mudwing and that doesn't make her life simple at all. She doesn't know who are her true parents and she feels ignorant and empty every day. Her adoptive mother, one day decides to tell her what she knows about her real family but it is not enough for Nightjar. Why did she have not seen at least one time her real father or mother ? If they died, what happened to them ? She needs to find answers to her questions and she will do it her way, the price doesn't matter, because it is her heritage. What she knew was she was determined. But what she didn't know was that this adventure would take her to her limit. (Note that this story is based on the universe of Wings Of Fire. It doesn't follow the exact chronology of the original story). The wings of fire book series entirely belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. If you paid to read this, then it must be a scammed. This is just a fanfiction about that imaginative world that, for sure, you love just as me. If you read this on an other platform that Wattpad, then someone copied it, which is something I definetely don't like. Perhaps you'll find some grammar mistakes or misunderstood things. What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. With that in mind, she travels to the rainforest... only to find something world-changing- an old animus-touched bracelet, which, when broken. would restore animus magic... and make whoever broke it an animus. Whoever made it, Aster breaks the bracelet, and with it starts something neither continent had ever been able to achieve- dragonets of different tribes forming a family of sorts.
