Teylie is 16 and knows what it's like to lose her loved ones. She lost her parents and her little brother when her village was attacked by rebels at a young age. On her own she was lost, confused and tired from running away. She ran into the woods neighboring her village where she found a deserted building. That's were she found a new family. Everything was fine until she met a stranger in the woods and thus her adventure began.
Brayzen is 17 and is the second son of the King Indulf. He's lives in his brother's shadow and no matter what he does he never earns praise from his father. One day in the castles garden he overheard something he shouldn't have. Someone was planning to take over the kingdom and is forming an alliance with the rebels. He tried to warn his father and brother but they wouldn't listen. On his own, with one guard who insisted on coming, he set off to find someone who would help. Then he met a stranger in the woods and thus his adventure began.
Join these two as they set off on an adventure to save the kingdom, stop the rebels and find the person behind the plot. Along the way they'll met knew people who will become either their friends or enemies, met mystical creatures thought not to exist, and one or two surprises for the lady.
AN- please forgive me if this is a terrible description it looked better on paper. Also this is a first with fantasy for me hopefully it's not as terrible as I think it is. Anyways enjoy and feel free to comment in the comment section, I'd love to read what you readers have to say.

The Lost Life of Laraine
She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. Serena and Kay are taken away from their village after a vicious attack. The other leïfaen prisoners are being used for something, but for what? Nothing good could possibly come from what their captors have in mind for them. Renefaire is rescued and taken care of by the navine; a tribe of nomadic humans who are practiced in the arts of medicine. With no home to return to, she begins to learn the ways of the navine's medicinal practices so she can help others the same way the navine have helped her. Mizu is desperate. Even though he farms rare plants in the sea, his family is poor because they always use the money on things like repairs, supplies and food. They need money, and a lot of it, to keep afloat. If he doesn't get that, then they'll have nowhere to stay. Kitty is scared. After being taken captive by the orcs, she doesn't exactly know what to do. Maybe they'll take her back to the kingdom that she ran away from. There's quite the bounty on her head, and evading the guards is her best chance to get away. When a random teenager gets thrown in with her, he convinces her to help him. Along with the weird actions of the people in the different kingdoms, monsters of all shapes and sizes seem to be chasing Mizu and Kitty, though they seem intent on simply Mizu. Now, on top of evading guards, they have to fight with these demons that just don't quite want to leave. Neither of them expect the outcome. When they get back to Kitty's home, the unexpected happens, and Mizu is thrust into an entirely different situation than what he thought. Now he doesn't know what to do as his life is on the line. When he finally makes a decision, he later realizes the mistakes that he now has to pay for.
