"What you did was reckless and stupid, you could have killed yourself and your unborn child" the doctor told me. I snorted in laughter" I'm sorry unborn child?" I asked laughing "what unborn child? I'm not pregnant" I said laughing but the doctor wasn't laughing with me, in fact his expression was pure pity and seriousness. "Wait I cant be pregnant".

Burdened (Short Story)
I was 16 years old when I found out that it was possible. I was living in an apartment with my boyfriend at that time. He and I took our high school classes online together. I met him when we were 14, just being dumb and clueless. I didn't know that I'll be his girlfriend at the age of 15 or that I was going to live on my own when I'm 16. I was just in my curious 14 year old body trying to get over my new monthly bleeding schedule. He and I wanted to become actors as a career, so we took college classes as well. At age 16, I worked 2 jobs at the mall and he was fixing cars at his father's garage shop. We were happy and in love. During our 16th year of age, we decided to do the big IT. It was amazing since we both took each others' virginity and luckily knew how to use condoms. It was impossible to stop. We did it non-stop, but that ended quickly when I stepped out of the bathroom with tears in my eyes. I was pregnant with Matthew Connor's baby. And I wasn't ready. But once again without success. -"I won't stay out of your life when I know my heir is growing inside of you" he said and raised his voice as well. "Well not for long" I mumbled under my breath and I thought only I could hear it but apparently I was wrong because based on his reaction he understood what I said. And let me tell you he wasn't pleased at all. -"You're not going to get an abortion" he said. Does he seriously think he can tell me what and what not to do? Because then he was wrong. He rushed to the hospital after receiving the call from the doctor. He felt restless, even though he didn't love his wife, he was scared about his baby's health.
