She could smell his musky cologne and minty breath and it was the most overwhelming experience she had ever endured. They were completely connected. It was surreal and all they could do was wonder how they had gotten so close in such a short period of time. Although neither one of them would ever complain. They had always gravitated towards each other, even if they had only spoken a few words to the other before today, they knew. They knew there was some spark between them. There had always been some tension, some strong cosmic power that made them crave the other's presence.

She was so close to him. He could smell her perfume rolling off her like waves, cascading over him and wrapping him up in the undertow. She was the ocean and drowning in her was like some sort of sweet privilege he wasn't so sure he deserved.
