Sister Grace is about a young woman preparing to be a nun. Grace grew up as an orphan in London, but after 1939 she found herself in a convent by the sea pursuing a life of prayer and worship. One day she receives a letter from the Lady Winston's Orphanage and in it is an old note from her mother, whom she has never met. With the matter of impulse, Grace decides to go looking for her mother. The last place she traces her back to: Scotland. 
On the Journey to meet  this mysterious woman before she takes her vows for the Church, she meets many new people with connections to her she's never known and even faces possible love.
