After relocating to a new town. Akeelah is forced to live alone when her mum dies. Her dad was on a business trip and he was going to join them soon according to her mum.But her dad was never gonna join them because the truth is that they got divorced.
Her mum hadn't told her about it due to Her(Akeelah) health status which causedher difficulty in going through tough or extreme emotions. How's Akeelah gonna feel when she finds out the truth?
Akeelah is later shocked to know the person who is interested in comforting her and understanding her pain

"Come on Akeelah. What's wrong? "
He drank in her startled look giving him the hint that she was shocked rather than surprised to see him. Her glassy eyes glowed with unshed tears behind the lens of her glasses.
She couldn't figure out why her insides coiled up with shock as he she raised her head which had been between her bent knees to look up at him. Was it because he paid her a random visit or because he cared to know what was wrong with her or because for the very first time he wasn't wearing that fucking serious look he always wore? His face looked as cool as ever.
She held her hands to her face and sobbed hard into her palms trying to swallow those sobs and hold the cry back.
"what's wrong? " he whispered he crouched beside her and squatted in front of her. "why are you crying into your palms, keels? " he paused and met her gaze as she lifted her head slowly.
"You've got my shoulder "
What! Did I just hear him offer me his shoulder to cry on?
The startled look over her face doubled as his soft gaze melted her, it tripped at the gentle squeeze he gave her hands. She sniffed harder causing her to sneeze lightly as she tried to force the fresh tears back.
Her eyes drowned into a pool of shock and surprise as he absorbed her into his strong arms giving her a tight suffocating hug.
"shhhhhh" he cooed as she began to cry again. "you have a shoulder to lean and cry on now okay " he assured her.

If you're so keen on displaying your chest, why bother wearing a shirt at all? Just take it off. Simple." She mocked. Yuvan looked at her in disbelief. " YOU HAVE LOST THE RIGHT TO CALL ME THAT, MR.ADVAIT MALHOTRA." she yelled and I can see the tears strimming down her cheeks, which are making me breathless. " YOU NEVER CONSIDERED ME YOUR WIFE BUT JUST AN UNWANTED RESPONSIBILITY BUT DON'T WORRY THIS RESPONBLITY WILL BE LIFTED UP FROM YOUR SHOULDERS." She yelled and wiped her tears harshly from her face, I got up and stepped closer to her but she backed away. " Divorce me, Mr.Advait Malhotra." " What?" I asked, not believing my own ears. " Divorce--." She didn't completed her sentence or we can say I didn't let her, sealing her lips with mine to stop her talking rubbish, I pulled her closer until there is no space between us left. She gasped and I pulled away before caressing her cheeks. " You can ask for my life, I would happily give that but don't ask something which will part our ways." I said and her tears again started spilling along with mine and I joined our foreheads before kissing her there. " Our hearts are attached to eachother by strings and those strings are tied for forever, there's no way I'm gonna strech those strings ti break it apart, we are bound to be with eachother and we will be always." I said and engulfed her in a warm hug, she fisted her hands and hitted me, the muffling cry echoed in my ears and I caressed her hairs before kissing them. _________________________________________ A simple typical love story with ups and downs. Nnadia had called her husband over ten times but to no avail. After what seemed like hours, she heard the sound of his car. Few minutes later he entered the living room. To her surprise, he passed right by her without sparing her a glance. She practically ran after him trying to ask about Mikes situation. She came close and tried touching his arm when he roared. "Don't even presume to touch me ever in your life". Dumbfounded, she asked " But why?" " Really?" He asked turning to face her with anger evident in his voice. And the confusion on her face only infuriated him even more. " Are you really going to pretend now? " He asked coming even closer. " Wow! You are such an amazing actress." He said. Clapping his hands. " But let me ask, don't you have one iota of shame in you? What kind of a woman are you anyways? I always knew you never had any feelings for me but still didn't expect you to stoop this low. How could you Nnadia? You pushed your husband out of your room only to bring someone else in his place? Even if you don't have respect or love for me, you should have at least thought about your status as a married woman." Tears trickled down her face for she was hurt beyond words. He turned to leave once more and she tried following. " Oh God! She exclaimed. Abdullah please wait, it's, it's not what you are thinking at all. Please let..." He shouted this time around silencing her. " In the name of Allah please don't speak, i detest your voice. And your face, your face only brings me pain. I'm gladly going to give you your freedom so you can be with him. Just don't let me see your face till then." Nnadia couldn't believe her eyes or ears. She has never seen him this angry before. He got it wrong. How could he even think she would ever give his place to someone like Mike? Earlier today she had thought that they were finally going to be happy. At this moment with his bitter words still echoing in her ears, she really doubted it now.

She was supposed to live a happy life with her so-called husband, but instead, he is bullying her. "Just tell me, why?" She gazed at him confused wondering what he meant by that. "Why what?" She cried "Heh" he chuckled, "don't play dumb with me Kulthum. Just tell me why you chose him over me? What am I lacking? Huh? Tell me!" He shouted pushing her more against the wall. "Because you are evil! I never loved you in the first place, you are nothing worth loving" she spat as tears flowed down her beautiful face.
