Humans aren't alone. what lies beyond there is convinced to be a myth. Amy belives it and now she is stuck with the myth she believed. ****//////**** " im Kayden and this is my friend shane" he said indicating the blonde. "im amy" I said chewing the yummy food. Most of them usually covered for animal attacks. But years of sneaking in the office .i learnt about murders. This one was mostly done by a hybrid. BOOK #1 in The Fire series TRIGGER WARNING IN SOME CHAPTERS He leans closer, keeping me pinned against the wall with his hands on either side of my head. I glanced at both of them before holding his glare with my own. He was giving me a cold stare, caging me in like an animal. I bit my lip, trying to hold it back. I was never good in situations like these. He stopped leaning forward when his face was just inches from mine. He was trying to make me uncomfortable. Trying to scare me, but he didn't. I wasn't scared of him. I didn't hide my face or get nervous... I just bit my lip harder, trying to hold it in. It would just make things worse for me, I bet. He kept his eyes on mine as I glanced at his friend behind him with his arms crossed and a bored expression on his face. I looked back at the man in front of me. "You shouldn't act that way around me." He says coldly. "I can have you dead right-" I couldn't hold it in. I started laughing. He leans back, shocked, but his face goes into a glare as soon as his friend behind him perks up, watching, interested now. I calm down a little. "I'm sorry." I say, catching my breath. "Continue, Continue." He watched me closely before leaning closer to me again. "I can have you killed-" Suddenly, I lost it again, laughing harder, bending a little to hold my stomach. He punched the wall in an effort to scare me but instead made me laugh even harder, falling to the ground and rolling on my side. Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." With that, I grabbed my backpack, turned my back to them, and walked away.Complete

"Like I said... you want me." I stepped towards the door and looked back. I'll be leaving now, you know staying the hell away from you like you "wanted" ". I turned around and looked at him. He stalked towards me angrily. I placed my hand on his hard muscular chest. "Try to forget me now." I smirked deciding to mess him up further. "I'm soaking wet, and you made that happen." I trailed my hand down his chest and reached into my short and touch my soaking p***y and pulled it out. I waved my finger in front of his face showing his the evidence. He grabbed my hand, stopping my movement. He looked me dead in eyes and stuck my finger in his mouth; he closed his eyes sucking my finger clean. He slowly took my finger out, his jaw clinching. And what he said, hit me right to my aching core. "You taste so fucking good. I could eat you all day and never get enough. Let me..fuck! So fucking delicious! I need more!" He dropped to his knees in front of me. Well shit just got real.Complete

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete
Are You Awake Yet?
In my nightmares I am trapped on a mental ward. I can't move my hands without feeling the restriction of the straps. My head is as clear, no trace of the "madness." I strain against the black polyester with every ounce of strength and still I can't budge. My back hurts right to the base of my spine. Saliva is pooling in the back of my mouth. The staff have gone. I am alone. My heart pounds, ready to explode; my eyes scan left and right for signs of someone coming to help. No-one. Worn green curtains hang limp on flaking chrome rings and though the gap passers by pay me no attention at all.Complete

Hoping to shake this human off once and for all, I twisted my body around rapidly with a plan to put my words into action. When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire. Rhea was unable to focus on anything around her but the lady. The lady was saying something but for Rhea it felt like some random lips movement. She was scared out of her wits. Then suddenly everything went dead silent. The lady vanished. The whispers and the wind stopped. But then Rhea saw light imprints of blood on the glass door under the dusty layer. ************************************ This book basically contains short horror stories of my own imagination. He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete
