"Tell me, have you ever killed someone?" "No." "I have. Killed more than I can count. And have you ever felt regret?" "Of course I have." "But I haven't. And that's why you can't save me." Five years. That's how long people have been searching for a mysterious murderer that kills without reason and leaves without a trace. Five years. That's how long Aldis has been traveling throughout the country, riding it of those who torture others for their own self entertainment. [Book #2 of the Dark Light series]

"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. So, I decided to re-write the original sequence of a short story, same plot and characters, just with current skill. Comments and feedback are appreciated, please enjoy!
