John Laurens was walking down the street to go meet some of his best friends. The crisp autumn breeze was hitting his face and he was feeling happy. Not watching where he was stepping, however, he bumps into a boy. He instantly feels a connection between them. They become friends, John, however, wants to be more than friends. He just hopes his 'friend' feels the same.

(I know that Laurens is the one that's 3 years older, but John sounds cute as a shy kid. I also know this is probably crappy, and ive changed some details, such as Lafayette being three years older than Laurens instead of three years younger, and ive made relations between characters that aren't real. Growing up in the Caribbean he'd never had the chance. Never until he'd moves to New York. Sure, he dreamed about seeing snow. But he never imagined that it was so cold. Yeah, it was pretty and all, but it was way too cold. The first year was the worst, but each year made Alexander dislike snow more and more. John was happy, though. Growing up in New York, John was used to the snow. Alexander on the other hand, he wasn't used to snow at all, as he grew up in the Caribbean.
