With an abusive dad, who was both physically abusive as well as manipulative. He is a criminal, serving his time in prison after being caught dealing drugs and shooting a police officer. I was 14 years old when they arrested him. She always had a good relationship with her mom, even after the incident. The passing of my older sister as well as everything that went down with her dad, her mom turned to alcohol for comfort. And looking at her now, it's like staring at someone you don't know. It's only one more semester until graduation. The dream is to find a good job, and get out of her toxic environment. To start over somewhere fresh, away from her past. But things never go as you plan. Every Friday afternoon Ashley stays at this cafe 'Gracht' to work. But on this one Friday something happened which changed her life for good.
