Have you ever imagined your wildest dreams come true? Well, Sixteen-year-old Vance Kadaric certainly has. But, sadly, his life has been going into the bizarre ever since he moved to Portland with his Techno-geek sister, Angelika after his grandfather died and no one seems to be able to find his grandmother… As if Vance's life just couldn't worse, one night when he gets himself stabbed in a dark alley that smells like cat pee, everything changes for the worse. If that wasn’t enough he loses his cell phone and kills his English teacher in the same day. Karma Sucks. Vance finds himself smack in the middle of a war between two worlds he didn’t even know existed. After lots of missed homework, and too many trips to the library to be comfortable, Vance discovers what he truly is: AngelBlood Jinn. Descended from mythical beings that can control and manipulate reality, Vance discovers he belongs to a new world of danger, control and love. Vance is going to save the world whether he likes it or not, it just might not be the world he used to know. He doesn’t know how he’s gonna do it or how to use his birthrights, but he had better learn fast if he plans to survive, some strange people are tracking him, hunting him... Autumn “Jaz” Lexmark used to be a spoiled rich girl. She had it all, cars, clothes and all the adoring boys she could ever hope for. Except she never wanted any of it. She was content to stay in the city's large sprawling library and read books than go shopping in SOHO. Then she began hearing the thoughts, voices, the sounds were deafening. She made the mistake of telling someone too much, so they threw her into a mental institution like it was going out of style. Now, seeing faces where there are none and hearing voices, Jaz doesn’t know what to do. She’s scared in an asylum and sure that the faceless man in a white tuxedo is dangerous. She knows that there is only one who can stop him, too bad she’s in a nuthouse…

I looked at him in shock, "How do you know that?" "I know a lot of things about you, Ms. Prior, even things you don't know yourself." Excuse me? "From what you can do," he paused giving me a look before directing his gaze back at the field. "To your eye color. Your parents have blue ones, so I don't see how that works." What? He continued without question, "You are still a mystery to us, as you have never showed any signs of power before, so it's sort of confusing." He paused for a few seconds them said, "You're different; you have an ability. You're a Supernatural." "Ok, I really need to go so..." I began walking back, but he stuck out his arm to block me. And that's when it happened. Flames rose on his arms, lighting them on fire. I backed up, feeling the heat radiate off his arms. I was in utter shock, yet he looked relaxed, amused even. "What the hell are you?" I jumped back, and the fire went out, a smirk rising on his face. "I'm just like you." ***** Kayla Prior has always been a popular girl, and everyone looks up to her.
