The Erinyes's Bond (Wolfguise) by RAThomas1988

The woman standing before Shade stole every ounce of cognition from him. She was stunning, the moon paled in comparison. The top of her head would not even graze his chin. Her height did not stop her from being imposing. A dark blue vest clung to her chest reveling taught skin over lean muscle. The black leather pants hung low on her hips, exposing soft flesh. Her gaze roamed the crowd, surveying the stupidity around her. After a moment she finally turned attention in his direction. When her gaze met his, it stopped heart. The dark blue pools shone in the dim light, dark as the night sky. She blew a strand of silver out of her face. Shade's wolf surged to the surface, and they growled. They itched to touch her skin, bury our face in her hair, to feel its softness and inhale its sweet scent. They wanted to stare into her night eyes. She needed to be theirs. ---- Eska's eyes found Shade quickly. He pushed through crowd, pulling his jacket off and threw it to the stocky blonde at his side. She spoke in low frantic words. He ignored her and climbed in the ring. Shade tugged his shirt over his head and Eska's heart skipped. This man was built like a bear. Shade's physique was reminiscent of strong man instead of a body builder. His pectorals were covered in a fine swath of dark hair that trailed down his belly disappearing into his jeans. Jeans that hugged his thighs tightly, thighs like a rugby player. Shade looked towards her quickly, a smirk filling his face, sharp canines peaking beneath his lips. He wasn't human, but she wanted him regardless.

"I dreamed about you." she leaned closer, and I knew she was preparing herself to catch my reaction. "You were a wolf." I tried my best to hide my anxiety, and tried innocence. "A wolf?" I hope she didn't catch the tremor. "Mm-hm. A wolf. A were-wolf." She kept studying me. Was she actually considering it? C'mon, I just wanted a normal life! Don't tell me she had worked it out. "Remember when we talked about you running away from home? You called yourself a wolf." Ohhhh sh*t. Damn her and her memory. I closed my gaping mouth with a snap, and looked away. "Hey," she whispered. I closed my eyes. "I know this is crazy but... are you?" I glanced back, worried to high hell. "Am I what?" She sighed. "A were-wolf, are you a were-wolf." She looked tired, and I wondered what she was thinking. My voice was hoarse. "Maybe." She looked as if she had been just shocked with electricity. "What?" Oh sh*t. What was I doing? "Maybe." I repeated. She still looked shocked. "Maybe I'm a werewolf. Maybe I was that wolf you saw in the bush yesterday. What would you do if I was?" "I don't know. Are you pulling my leg?" She watched me warily, and I leaned in close. "No." I pressed my lips to hers, and felt her tremble. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Diana Wednesday thinks that she's just going to have a normal, care-free gap year, where she'll find a boyfriend, get a job and live a life, maybe with her BFF Pippa. Warning: This book contains mature content. "Your scent is driving me crazy, mate. You're so ready for me," he said darkly, inhaling deeply, intoxicated by the air around us. I knew exactly what he was thinking, and it terrified me to the core. Yes, I was scared. Yes, he was stronger than me. But I would not let him touch me. I would not surrender. His touches had an unsettling effect on my body. It responded to him, but it didn't mean I wanted it, wanted him. I will not go down without a fight! While he was busy looking at my breasts, I glanced towards the door. It hung loosely on its hinges, half-open. He almost ripped it. It was proof of how powerful he truly was. He could kill me in a blink. But if I ran at full speed, I might make it to the front door. I needed to get out of here. With that determination, I sprinted towards the door. Before I could step outside, his arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me back against his hard chest. "We have to do something about your running habit, mate," he whispered in my ear. I thrashed around, trying to free myself from his hold, but he chuckled darkly, finding my struggle amusing. He threw me onto the bed, and I struggled to get up, but my torn dress tangled with my legs, hindering my movements. His loud laughter echoed in the room, and I glared at him, fear still gnawing at my heart. Everything was a twisted game to him. He stopped laughing, but a sinister grin remained on his lips. "I can't wait to see you writhing under me like that."
