Not even bothering with trying to write a description this time. I lost a bet a month or so ago with my sister, and I owed her a story. This is what I wrote. It was supposed to be a short story but the way it's going now it could become a series if I tried. I was supposed to have had it finished within a week but now it's going to be her Christmas present.

I am in this story, and so are my sisters. Obviously I'm not using our real names, so for the purposes of this story, we are known as Galexia, Cassiopeia, Astrid, and Nova.

This started as an entry for the Open Novella Contest, 2022. Unfortunately, I was having some medical difficulties (which I won't bore you with) and felt I needed to drop out after the first deadline. Shortly after taking up the story again, I realized that I was writing the same characters as those in my previous entry (ONC 2020), Thirteen Points of Light. So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine. This story is written in first person (using I, we, us, etc.) Also, this is going to be my story for the #justwriteit challenge Also, the idea for this story was given to me by one of my best friends, @minewtlover14
