Caroline and Elena get invitations from Klaus for a ball that evening. What Caroline didn't know was who that ball was about. The anniversary of her mothers death. What she doesn't know is that he's the only one who remembers.
What will happen between them that night? Will anything happen?
Authors note: I am very sorry if some of these scenes don't make since, this is my first story on here. And I kinda just go with the flow when I write my stories. Like this one, I have watched the Vampire Diaries & The Originals, so I kinda know how they would talk and maybe what would happen. Anyway I hope you enjoy! (BTW, this story just kinda jumps right in so don't be alarmed if you think you skipped a page!)

To put it in the simplest of terms, Olivia Grayson, was dying. She had a brain tumor, the size of a golf ball, tightly wrapped around the stem of her brain. Her doctor had never seen anything like it. The tumor was not cancerous. However, it was growing at a rate that seemed almost magical.
