This is a book that I have been wanting to write about. It's been sucked in my head for the longest time. I hope you guys like it, but it's mature and some humor in it. So more or less, this story contains a high school girl that is a junior. She is is suffering from depression and anxiety that cause her to cut. It all began from when her grandmother died 10 years ago, that they were so close and had a bond that it drove Ann to depression, she's been cutting ever since then. She tried to get help, but people always drag her down. From then on, she only relied on herself. But then during her Summer break, her parents went into a divorce and she chose to stay with her mom to graduate. Then her boyfriend finds out that she is cutting, he loves her, tell her she is beautiful, cherish her, everything.

He doesn't see a girl who hates the entire world ,but hates herself even more. He doesn't see a fat, ugly, whore when gazing into her eyes. He sees a girl who's been wronged by the world left and right. He sees a girl who cares music more than she cares about her own life. He sees a person who needs love. But not everyone who you try to save ends up being saved in the end. Sometimes it's just too late. As Kira always says ,"Happily ever after was so once upon a time." This book does not promote self harm or suicide. And it also doesn't romanticize it.
