His gang member's are William(Will) cipher, Star, Andrew and Lady widow.The Demons were like family. Bill and Will helped them when they needed it the most and now they were family. Also, the twins are a year younger when this takes place, so they are 11 going on 12 when Mabel goes to Gravity Falls and the whole Weirdmageddon thing happens. . Summer was over, and it was time to get back to school.
