Devastation has hit the world a long long while ago. Before they were even born, but the maze had been there for as long as anyone could remember. Early maze explorers had never come back out to tell their findings of the strange bramble construction. After awhile, people just stopped going into it. But now...survival was built on the maze's treasures. Food, wealth, power was promised to those who completed it. No had, and it was a suicide mission to even attempt it. Though, suicide was common now in the crumbling apocalypse. Blank, an eleven year old child now must brave it's treachery. It could be easy for them, since the child had never been confirmed to be human. Instead hiding their face from the world. What happens when a little child walks into a maze alone and only armed with a small army knife.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut. You know what? No one wants to admit it, but we're all running out of room. People are blind. We're too many. Every year, more of us pile onto this rotting planet. Bodies, faces, minds pushing, shoving, breathing, eating, consuming. But what are we really? Resources. And guess what? Resources expire. We can't just keep packing in more and more.
