Attract Opposites

Is it true that people find their opposites attractive? Or is it just a feature of curiosity of the human mind that makes us so interested in how the other could act so differently?
Well, for these two boys. Everything just seemed to fall into place bit by bit.

Jaycee Pierce is a sixteen year-old angel. He is smart, kind, shy, innocent and lovable. His small and vulnerable posture makes even the guys awe at him and his big blue eyes. Being as intelligent as Jaycee was he was able to skip seventh grade and go into eighth, learning the techniques and catching on instantly. But even with his adorable aura and clever mind, he is constantly teased and mocked about his small size and his sweet/shy attitude, making him insecure.
That is until he meets the biggest brut on the planet that changes his life.
For the good or bad, who knows?

Declan Rhett is a seventeen year old junior who had been held back during his freshman year for failing keystones. He has a strong and snarky vibe around him that intimidates anyone he meets. His bad-boy look also gives off the impression of wanting to pound someone's face in, which he would gladly apply to do anytime. Being such a bad guy has its disadvantages, though. Declan is constantly feared and has little friends apart from his older brother's crew and seems to be at a loss of why he wouldn't be so well liked due to his reputation in the school.
But when he meets a little angel, his big bad world turns out to be not so bad, after all.
