Food, water, and land, all luxuries we've taken for granted, have been slowly looming down on us as a possible issue of the future. But that was just it. An issue of the future. Those who could not and were still lucky enough to survive holed up in the few somewhat habitable areas left on the planet. One day however, salvation came from the stars, as the Asmodei descended upon the ruined earth, bearing promises of a new world for mankind to thrive on. A fresh start, to make up for the follies of the past. But nothing works out quite as advertised, does it?

The world was deemed unliveable in 2025. Humans were moved to space stations in order to survive, looking for a new planet to call home. The year is now 2050, and we still have not found a planet. I was born on this ship but my parents were alive when Earth 'died.' I've been chosen to journey to the planet of Alalea in hopes of finally finding somewhere to live. I never thought I would call this place home until I met him. (Based on the world of avatar. This story and characters are completely original and my own!)

Just as things begin to look up a fleet of unknown space ships enters the earth's orbit and lays siege to the planet. Forced to retreat, the New Alliance evacuates anyone they can and travels into the unknown, pursued and hunted by vampire-like creatures with an insatiable thirst for blood. Those unlucky enough to be left on Earth are captured and enslaved to serve as both labor force to fuel the alien species technology and to provide them with there life's blood. As things look grim and hope seems lost, a brave officer steps up to change humanity's fate.

She has one year left until she goes over and she has been perfectly happy for the past 37 years, never questioning whether or not she loves her husband or even likes her children. But now she does.
