Seventeen year old River Danaher has been nothing but fragments and shards for the past six years. She has come to realize that it's hard to function properly when what stands in her place is a pile of broken glass. Starting her senior year she receives news that drastically changes her future. She accepts her fate.
Accepting this fate however means that she also accepts to revisit a chapter in her life from six years ago. Only this time she doesn't know if she'll come out at all, and the only good thing about being shattered is that you can't get any more broken . . .
