Riley and Lucas thought they'd be together forever. They fell in love in high school, got engaged in college, married a year later, and by the time they were finished with school they were expecting. Life was blissful and happy. Until it wasn't. They didn't know what had torn them apart but after twenty years of marriage they decide to call it quits. 
When their daughter Bella comes home over holiday break and announces she's engaged Riley and Lucas realize they'll have to learn to get along is this wedding is going to happen (that is if Bella's best friend doesn't interrupt it first) and along the way they begin to question why they broke up in the first place and face the biggest question of all.
