"From all the things I pictured in my future life, nothing could have prepared me for this." --- When Lance forced you and the others to a night out, you had no choice but to join them. Through a series of completely unexpected events, though, the "night out" ended up being a rescue mission for Shiro, the pilot of the Kerberos mission. You all ended up somehow becoming the Paladins of Voltron, so you knew the fate of the universe was in your hands. It was time for you and the team, especially you and Keith, to step up and overcome your conflicts and start to become proper teammates, or perhaps more. or A story in which Keith Kogane and (Y/N), old classmates, meet again on a fateful night on a rescue mission for Shiro. Except that Keith now hates (Y/N)'s guts. What happened and how will that affect the Team of Voltron? Hell, if only (Y/N) knew. --- Not marked mature for smut! --- Credits for the lovely book cover and the banner in the chapters go to @-EL3CTRO on wattpad! --- Weekly updates, Fem!reader, mature content warning bc of violence --- Will be following the plot of "Voltron: Legendary defenders" only loosely. "S-Stay, p-please," Keith mumbled, hiding his face in his pillow. Lance nodded climbing beside the small boy. Keith turned to face him, his face flushed as he looked at Lance, "T-Thanks." "For what?" Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. "I could never hate you." ------------------------------------------------- Keith gets kidnapped during a simple mission of the paladins. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron. KLANCE BAND After Keith's music producer dropped him so they could focus on different performers, he decided to pursue his other dream and become a dance teacher. His brother Shiro invites one of his good friends to do a dance class with a few other guests. What Keith didn't know was that these "other guests" were actually the band who is the reason he no longer sings. Keith is informed that the band are looking for a new band member but never imagines that he'd be offered a spot in the band (and tricked into joining the band too). On the path if fame, Keith learns more about his new friends and himself. He discovers new emotions and feelings and he may even form a bond closer than friendship with none other than the bands most popular, and in Keith's eyes, the worlds most obnoxious human; Lance McClain. Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. You better stay away from him otherwise you could get on his bad side, and then your life is over. Lance isn't the guy to judge people just because people talk about that person. But they seem to be right, as a moment later Keith throws a freshman on the ground for speaking to him. That is a sign for Lance to never even look at this guy. But that isn't that easy as it sounds, cause even if he is a bully he is kind of good looking. Wait good looking? he's a guy! Mami always warned him to never hang out with bad people. Otherwise she will probably beat the light out of his eyes, so no way he's going to approach a guy like that. Till he sees this Keith in a whole different light.
