Alessandro took a sip of his dark coffee. A fleeting expression on his face showed disgust, yet soon he was stoic once more as if nothing was wrong at all. He glanced down at the mug, thick, brown ceramic, the steam no longer rose from the top. I assumed the liquid now was like a pool of tepid bitterness to drink.
"Well," he heavily sighed. "Love is parasitic. Yet, with you? I assume it to be an unassailable fall that will leave me willing to risk everything."
