Two years later, war between the apes and the humans struck the planet and during these last two years, the apes went into hiding while the humans scour the entire forest and woods in search of Caesar and Kira, the leaders of the ape colony on California.

Despite Caesar's warnings to leave them, the humans did not heed his words and proceeded to take the only thing he loved and care to death.

Filled with rage, Caesar journeyed with Maurice, Rocket and their scout leader, Luca on a quest to kill the colonel. They stumbles upon Nova whom Maurice took in as his adoptive daughter and Bad Ape, a lone ape who knew the exact location of colonel.

Will peace ever restore on the planet even in the darkest days on one's life?
