Aspen has her ambitions in life and being a journalist is definitely one of them. She may be sarcastic but she is also one of the nicest people you could ever meet. But just like every other story, she has her past. Then there is James who obviously the edgier person. He actions say he likes to have a good time with all the parties he goes to and all of the things he gets himself into... including beds. When Aspen and him meet hiding behind a small bush hiding from the cops things get a little interesting for them, especially when they find out they work at the not so local cafe together. First Book so sorry for grammar or spelling because I'm trying. THERE IS SWEARING BEWARE

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
